Rudolph Meyer Swiss
graphic designer and student of Armin Hofmann and Emil Ruder,
settled in France during the 1960’s. Since then he has
divided his time between teaching and his professional activities:
the design of visual identity programs, posters, logos,exhibitions,
products, and cartography.
Rudi Meyer is a member of the Alliance Graphique
Internationale and teaches at the renowned École Nationale
Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris where he
is responsible for inspiring a generation of graphic designers
students and making them aware of the importance of basic design,
typographic research, and the strong tradition of the French
poster.
Philippe Millot lives
and works in Paris. He teaches typography at the École
Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and graphic
design at École Nationale Supérieure de Creation
Industrielle. He is also a visiting professor at L’Atelier
National de Recherche Typographique in Nancy. Philippe Millot
is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale.
The work of Philippe Millot has received numerous
awards: the STD (Society of Typographic Design, London) for Saisons
Musicales de Radio France; Grand Prix ADC (Art Directors Club)
for a series of books for the APDF (Association pour la Diffusion
de la Pensée Française) Ministere des Affaires
Etrangere and the publisher of Cent Pages. Philippe is also credited
with the creation of the web site for the APDF, considered one
of the most beautiful French web sites.
Philippe Millot has been featured in such magazines
as Baseline, STD Journal, TM/RSI (Swiss Typographic Magazine),
Minimix, and his work exhibited by the Bibliotheque Nationale de
France.
